A lone whale drifts at sea
Communicating on the wrong frequency
The only whale in the ocean at this pitch
(I immerse my thoughts in this)
As the sounds we make can be influenced by the sounds we hear
(As a result I’ve got nothing true to say)
Life is just the cruel water breaking over your fin
(A simplistic conclusion I won’t accept)
